Rainbow Counselling Services North East

I’m Emma, an experienced Psychotherapeutic Counsellor and Clinical Supervisor. I work in my own Private Practice with children, young people and adults. Thank you for visiting my website.

Navigating childhood, adolescence and adulthood can be a real challenge. The world in which we all live in can be unsettling, unsafe, scary, and confusing for all of us at some time or another.

Counselling allows us to speak of our issues, set our own goals and make sense of our world. I offer you the opportunity of doing this within a safe, warm and non-judgemental space.

By getting to know you, we use our relationship together to explore your feelings, worries, issues,

I offer a friendly, empathic counselling and supervisory experience, where the relationship with you is at the centre of the work we do.

I have my own child and adult friendly room in Prudhoe, Northumberland NE42.

I very much look forward to getting to know you and supporting you to feel valued, seen and ultimately validated in your feelings.

As an integrative counsellor, I draw upon a variety of approaches within the counselling world to work with you.

My philosophy is that EVERYONE can come to a place in their own lives where they feel OK in their own skin.

I am fully insured; I have an enhanced DBS and adhere to data protection laws in relation to GDPR.

Safety is at the heart of my practice. and I continually seek to keep on top of current legislation and best practice. As a result, continuing professional development is very important to keeping my skills and awareness as high as it can be. Another part of this ongoing process, and my own ethical and moral principles, is my own professional supervision to track my own experiences and practice.

You are not alone with how you are feeling, and I’m alongside you to support you with moving forward in your own space.

Please don’t hesitate to reach out to me for a free, no obligation phone or zoom call to discuss your counselling needs further.
